I believe that Maryland has become more expensive and less affordable. Older Marylanders and families of color are being squeezed out of the housing market. We need action now to preserve housing options for all Maryland residents. I call on Maryland state legislators to:

• Develop a long-term plan to promote housing affordability
• Eliminate barriers to producing a full range of housing options
• Address our statewide housing unit shortfall
• Create more opportunities for homeownership in Maryland
